Britney Spears has sent Christina Aguilera a gift to congratulate her on the birth of her first child. The ‘Gimme More’ singer - who has lost custody of her own sons Sean Preston, two, and 16-month-old Jayden James - has sent a collection of baby clothes to her former pop rival for her two-week-old son Max.

A source at children’s clothing company huddybuddy.com revealed: “Britney ordered the entire collection of onesies to be sent to Christina. The slogans on the suits she ordered include ‘Diaper Dude’, ‘I don’t play well with others’, ‘I didn’t nap today’ and ‘I know I’m gorgeous’.”

Britney, 26, lost her supervised visitation rights to Sean and Jayden after she refused to return them to ex-husband Kevin Federline on January 3.

Following a three-hour stand off with police she was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation. The ‘Piece of Me’ singer is believed to be bipolar and reportedly has multiple personality disorder.

Her lawyers are said to be negotiating the reinstatement of her visitation rights to her sons if she agrees to psychiatric treatment. Britney visited the Santa Monica office of psychiatrist Deborah Nadel for an hour on Friday as part of the agreement.

Paris Hilton and Britney Spears may have seen ups and downs in their friendship but the heiress still stands by her troubled pal.
The 26-year-old heiress revealed that the ‘Toxic singer’ is completely different as been made out.
“She’s such a sweet girl when I’m alone with her, she’s a completely different person than she’s made out to be,” Usmagazine.com quoted her as saying.
“And I love her, I think she’s very sweet and has a big heart. She’s amazing.
“I just want her to be happy. I think everything’s going to be OK,” she added.

Britney Spears tried to make peace with her army of paparazzi followers on Saturday when she invited a small group of snappers into her Los Angeles home to party with her.

Four photographers were arrested and charged with reckless driving in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening after a high-speed car chase in pursuit of Spears.

And the troubled singer felt so bad for the snappers, she decided to make it up to them over the weekend.

According to PageSix.com, the pop star picked out photographer Filipe Teixeira from the crowd and asked him to join her in her Mercedes-Benz so that she could personally apologize for Wednesday’s events.

Spears then invited Teixeira, who was one of the four men arrested by Los Angeles police, to follow her back to her mansion, where they drank champagne and partied with two of the other snappers for four hours, according to various Internet reports.

And Spears had a special interest in Teixeira–he is alleged to have first introduced the singer to her paparazzo boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib. Ghalib spent the weekend in Santa Barbara after attending a family funeral, and did not join the late-night party.

Britney Spears Tops Yahoo’s List of Most Searched in 2007

People must love the drama that is Britney Spears’ life because she topped Yahoo’s Top 10 Most searched of 2007 for the sixth time.

For the wrong reasons or right, people are obsessed with Britney Spears. According to Reuters online, Britney fascinated people in 2007 so much that she headed the list of the top 10 searches on Yahoo.com.

Spears, who turned 26 on Sunday, continued to draw attention as she shaved her head, attacked a photographer’s car with an umbrella, went to rehab, fought with ex-husband Kevin Federline over the custody of their two sons, and released her first album in four years.

“People do not know what to expect from her any more and the searches would spike every time she was back in the news,” Vera Chan, senior editor at Yahoo, told Reuters.

“From when she shaved her head and rumors emerged from the rehab mill that she was calling herself the anti-Christ and shaved 666 on her scalp, there was constant tracking of this almost modern-day Greek tragedy happening in front of us.”

Spears has topped the annual Yahoo list for six of the past seven years, only losing out once — in 2004 — to her friend and fellow party girl Paris Hilton. But Chan said overall the Britney Spears searches were up from a year ago.

Britney Spears memorabilia has never been more in demand, according to auction Web site eBay–the troubled pop star sold more than 34,000 related items online in 2007.

That compares with 27,377 items associated with Paris Hilton.

Items associated with Spears ranged from signed CDs to disposable lighters featuring her likeness, according to news show Access Hollywood.

Among the Hilton-related items sold was a toothbrush reportedly found in the hotel heiress’ trash.

But neither Hilton nor Spears could match baseball superstar Barry Bonds–more than 145,000 items related to him, including a grilled-cheese sandwich, sold on eBay.
